Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the subscription and Cloud OBS?
With the subscription, OBS runs on your PC and Semirprod lets you control it remotely. With Cloud OBS, OBS itself runs on our side: you connect to it from your browser, and your computer can stay off while you stream.
Is my Cloud OBS slot shared?
No. For your whole period, monthly or for the length of your event, your slot is reserved for you, whether you stream or not. So it's there when you need it, Saturday night included.
How much media storage do I get with Cloud OBS?
Up to 20 GB. Overlays, alert sounds and a few transitions need very little; heavy videos should be planned ahead.
Can I stream in 1440p or 4K with Cloud OBS?
Not with this offer: output is 1080p60, the same for everyone. That's how we can guarantee everyone's slot. If you need more, write to us and we'll set up something custom.
How much does Cloud OBS cost?
It's quoted per request: for a day, a few days, a week or longer, and for several OBS instances. Tell us what you need and we'll reply with a price.
What's the difference between Essential, Pro and Ultra?
All three have the same features: remote OBS control from your browser and IRL mode. Two quantities change: the IRL hours included each month, and the number of devices that can send us video at the same time.
What happens if my stream degrades while I'm live?
We continuously monitor what you send us. When your main feed drops, your OBS switches to your backup scene on its own. You choose the scene and what triggers the switch: a full drop only (default), a very low bitrate too, or any drop in quality.
Do my secondary devices switch automatically too?
No, and that's on purpose. All your devices are monitored and their status is shown, but only your main feed triggers the automatic switch. With several devices, you decide: if Semirprod switched scenes because a backup source weakened, it would be choosing what goes on air for you. You see the problem and you cut.
What counts toward the included hours?
Only what you send us: IRL mode and the devices you connect. Your stream itself doesn't count; it goes from your OBS to Twitch without going through us.
Is there a mobile app?
Not yet: the Semirprod phone app will come later. You subscribe on the website.
Are some services quoted on request?
Yes. For anything outside the subscription (production, support, custom work), we'd rather build the offer with you than sell you a box that doesn't fit.
How much does a quote cost?
Nothing. We get back to you with a free, personalized estimate, with no commitment on your side.
How do I cancel?
In one click from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, at no cost.
